à peine commencé, le mois de février passe par Poitiers pour présenter Pina Jackson in Mercemoriam. La poursuite des investigations sur THiRtEEn sera entrecoupée par la prise du rôle de MC dans la Speedbattle du Festival Antigel et la reprise du rôle de FC* dans Flipbook de B. Charmatz. A part les virus qui se dorent la pilule et tout le malheur du monde, tout va très bien…

Barely commenced, February passes through the Poitiers to present Pina Jackson in Mercemoriam. Continued investigations of THiRtEEn will be interrupted for the role of MC in Speedbattle for the Festival Antifreeze and also for the resumption of the role of FC* in Flipbook by B. Charmatz.

Recently returned from New York, Foofwa is working on THiRtEEn, a piece for three dancers: Marthe Krummenacher, Anja Schmidt and himself, to be presented April 5 2012, along with the Chamber Orchestra of Geneva, to celebrate the 100th birthday of John Cage. Drawing on his methods and thoughts, a dance of indeterminacy and interdependence is formed.
The OCG, led by David Greilsammer, will play Thirteen, created in 1992, the year of the departure of John Cage, in which 13 musicians play for about 30 minutes.

De retour de New York, Foofwa travaille à THiRtEEn, pièce pour 3 danseur-euse-s : Marthe Krummenacher, Anja Schmidt et lui-même, qui sera présentée le 5 avril, en compagnie de l'Orchestre de Chambre de Genève, pour fêter le centième anniversaire de John Cage. S'inspirant des méthodes et pensées de ce dernier, il met en forme une danse de l'indétermination et de l'interdépendance.
L'OCG, dirigé par David Greilsammer, jouera Thirteen, pièce pour 13 instrumentistes d'environ 30 minutes, qui fut créée en 1992, année de la disparition de Cage.
