The thirty minute trio BodyToys shows how neo-liberal capitalism appropriates symbols from historical revolutions (for instance, the image of Che Guevara printed on trendy t-shirts) to make them politically powerless and publically entertaining.

In the dance, three bodies are hung by their necks with a Slinky spring toy. Presented as characters from an audio-visual series, the dancers alternate between animating a Jack-in-the-Box, an automated doll, a cartoon character, a digital avatar, and a talking and singing toy. They are in constant manipulation by an invisible power.

BodyToys, trio de trente minutes, montre comment le capitalisme néo-libéral s'approprie les symboles révolutionnaires (par exemple l'image de Ché Guevara sur les t-shirts à la mode) pour les rendre politiquement inopérants et publicitairement distrayants.

Dans la danse, trois corps sont pendus par le cou grâce à un ressort jouet. Presentés comme les personnages d'une série télévisuelle, les danseureuses alternent entre un automate animé façon "Jack-in-the-Box", un personnage de bande-dessinée, un avatar digital et un jouet parlant et chantant. Ielles sont constamment manipulés par une puissance invisible.
