Richard Kaboré

Dancer / Actor / Acrobat

Trained in traditional dance in his home country Burkina Faso, Richard Kaboré later studied contemporary dance with Robert Seyfried, Matteo Moles, Bernardo Montet, Xavier Lot, Gregory Magoma, Salia Sanou, and Dimitri Chamblas Rockya Kone and joined the National Ballet of Burkina Faso led by Irene Tassembedo. Living in Switzerland since 2003, Richard performed in several dance creations of contemporary dance companies with Philippe Saire (Lonesome Cowboy 2009), Gilles Jobin (Text to speech 2008), Filiberto Tologo (Empreinte), Sans Filtre and Rebecca Spinetti.

With his internship Richard represents the chain of contemporary African dance marked by the evolution of dance in Burkina Faso over the past two decades.

With Foofwa, he acquired his early foundations of classical dance and participated in the creation of Public-Cité (2011).
