The Lonza River flows through the Lötschental, which gave its name to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry of the Lonza Group. In the Lötschental, there is a carnival with Tschägätta masks: disguise, satire, dances, serious scenes, culinary and erotic pleasures, struggles, parties, social criticism activities.
