Dancewalk - Ultra Valais

Etang Donné Finges

The Bois de Finges recalls the installation of Marcel Duchamp’s last major work, “Etant donnés”, which originated in a waterfall in French-speaking Switzerland. This Bois de Finges that Corinna Bille loved: “A willow branch shaken by the current, a pine tree standing still on the sky, puts me in a state close to ecstasy, and I understand that in the past people loved trees, waters.”
